Awareness
While this generation is accustomed to attending live entertainment events such as concerts and performances, not as many individuals can be found attending conferences regarding their careers. This is in part attributed to the misconception that they are not qualified to participate. Additionally, conferences tend to last multiple days which makes them costly to younger attendees. Many people are also not actively searching for these types of events, so they simply may not know they exist.
is a conceptual type and design conference that spotlights young designers. The event promotes affordability, inclusivity, and social connection through active workshops, Q&A’s, and interactive exhibitions. The typography organization A Typ I sponsors the conference which will be held at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in France.

is key.
The world has grown expectant of interactivity in every aspect of life, so why should a conference be any different? VR and interactive projection experiences allow visitors to build and manipulate their own typefaces which they can then save as workable files to use in their own projects or simply to use for social media purposes.
A variety of type design and graphic design workshops will be offered as a way to explore the future of design in an engaging way. There will also be Q&A sessions with more established artists to act as a draw for interested parties. Curated by A Typ I, the exhibits will feature art exclusively from upcoming designers and students.
